Everyone knows footloose, right? A teenager, Ren, who loves to dance, has his life upended by a move to a small town where dancing is outlawed. As he struggles to “fit in” and adapt to life in this new town, he finds friendship and love while bringing dance back to the town. While on the surface this peppy 80s musical seems fun, angsty, and romantic, but it also deals with deeper themes around coming of age, and processing grief. A touching, hart-felt, and fun show with some classic songs!
